1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", "Participant", "Parent", "Guardian" or "School", as applicable) and the operators of the Superhero International Olympiad. By accessing this website, registering for the programme, making any payment, or permitting a child/ward to participate, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this website or register for the programme. The Organiser recommends that these Terms be read together with the Privacy Policy before registration.
2. Definitions
"Programme" or "SIO" means the Superhero International Olympiad and all associated activities, examinations, preparation services, dashboards, events and celebrations, including Superhero Fest. "Organiser", "we", "us" or "our" means the Superhero International Olympiad programme, its operator Singhans Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U85410PB2025PTC063417), and the NITTTR Chandigarh Research and Development Foundation (CIN: U88900CH2025NPL046392) as the associated educational initiative, including their employees, officers, coordinators and authorised representatives. "Website" means this website and all pages, forms and services offered through it.
3. Eligibility
Participation is open to students studying in Class 1 to Class 10 in the applicable academic year, subject to these Terms. Participants below the age of 18 years must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and registrations routed through schools are subject to the school's authorised coordination. The Organiser reserves the right to verify age, class, school enrolment and identity documents at any time and to cancel any registration found ineligible, without refund of fees.
4. Registration & Confirmation
Registration is completed only upon submission of the required details and receipt of the applicable fee. Submission of a registration form does not guarantee participation. All registrations are subject to availability of seats, centres, examination slots and scheduling capacity. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to accept, waitlist, reject or cancel any registration, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion and without being required to assign any reason. Registrations are personal to the registered student and are strictly non-transferable.
5. Fees & Payment — Non-Refundable
The fee for the Programme is as published on the Website from time to time (for the 2026–27 edition: Olympiad Only at ₹399/- and Olympiad + AI Dashboard at ₹999/- per student, with any Early Bird pricing valid only for the announced period). By making a payment you confirm that you have reviewed the plan inclusions.
- All fees, once paid, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances whatsoever, including without limitation: withdrawal of the Participant, absence from or skipping of any examination, disqualification, unavailability of a school or examination arrangement, change of mind, change of school or residence, medical or personal reasons, or partial participation in the Programme.
- No refund, credit, carry-over or adjustment shall be due for any unused or partially used component of the Programme, including the AI Dashboard access, Student Development Programme membership, or any examination attempt not availed.
- The Organiser may revise fees, plans, inclusions and pricing at any time prospectively. Changes apply to future registrations and do not entitle already-registered participants to any refund or adjustment.
- Applicable taxes, gateway charges or bank charges, if any, are borne by the registrant and are likewise non-refundable.
6. Programme Changes, Postponement & Cancellation
The Organiser reserves the complete and unconditional right, at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice and without any liability, to: (a) amend, modify, postpone, reschedule, curtail, expand or cancel any part or the whole of the Programme — including examination dates, mode, format, duration, syllabus weightage, centres, venues, the Superhero Fest, and the schedule of results; (b) change, substitute, add or withdraw any feature, benefit, plan, dashboard capability or service; and (c) modify the structure, governance and operation of the Programme in any manner it deems fit. Where reasonably practicable, changes will be published on the Website; however, failure to receive or notice any such publication shall not give rise to any claim, refund or compensation.
7. Rewards, Prizes & Availability
All awards, medals, trophies, certificates, scholarships, memberships, merchandise, event invitations (including invitations to Superhero Fest), and any other rewards or benefits are provided subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the Organiser. The Organiser may, without notice and without liability, substitute any reward or benefit with an alternative of any kind or value, modify the number or level of awards, or withdraw any reward. Descriptions, values and depictions of rewards on the Website are indicative and are not warranties. Delivery of physical items is subject to correct postal details being provided; the Organiser is not responsible for postal or courier delays or losses beyond its reasonable control.
8. Examinations, Evaluation & Decisions
Question papers, answer keys, evaluation methodology, scoring, normalisation (if any), rankings, tie-breaking rules and results are determined solely by the Organiser. The Organiser's decisions on all matters relating to the examination, evaluation, results, rankings, scholarships and awards shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any Participant for misconduct, unfair means, technical manipulation, impersonation, or any act it deems detrimental to the fairness or reputation of the Programme — with immediate effect, without refund, and without liability. Any certificate or award already issued may be withdrawn in such cases.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website and in the Programme — including the SIO name, logo, branding, question papers, question banks, preparation material, the AI Dashboard, software, designs, graphics, text and databases — is the exclusive property of the Organiser or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, reverse-engineered or used for any purpose without the Organiser's prior written permission. Participants may not publish, share or discuss question content before, during or after the examination where prohibited by the Programme rules. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Photographs, Media & Publicity Rights
By registering, and/or by attending any examination, event or celebration, each Participant (and, where the Participant is a minor, the Parent/Guardian on the Participant's behalf) grants the Organiser a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to record, photograph, film, use, reproduce, adapt, publish and display the Participant's name, class, school, city, photographs, videos, performances, results, and quotes, in any media now known or later developed, for the promotion, documentation and operation of the Programme and its future editions — without any compensation, royalty or further consent being due. Participants who wish to opt out of non-essential publicity may write to the support desk; the Organiser may honour such requests where operationally feasible, but no damages or claims shall lie in any case.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) the Website, the Programme and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied; (b) the Organiser shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss or damage whatsoever — including loss of data, opportunity, goodwill, marks, ranking expectations, or travel/accommodation costs — arising out of or in connection with the Programme, any change to it, or these Terms; (c) the Organiser does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Website, AI Dashboard, or examination infrastructure; and (d) the Organiser's total aggregate liability, if and to the extent it cannot be excluded under applicable law, shall not exceed the registration fee actually paid for the concerned Participant's registration.
12. Indemnity
Each Participant, and each Parent/Guardian/School on behalf of the Participant, agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organiser from and against all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: the Participant's conduct or participation; any breach of these Terms; any misrepresentation of eligibility or identity; any violation of law or third-party rights; and any use of the Website or AI Dashboard in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Force Majeure
The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure, delay or interruption in performing its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, government orders or restrictions, strikes, network, power, internet, cloud-platform or telecommunication failures, cyber incidents, war, civil disturbance, or any other force majeure event. In such events, the Organiser may postpone, modify or cancel affected activities at its discretion, and such action shall not give rise to any refund, compensation or claim.
14. Privacy & Data Consent
Personal data provided at registration or during the Programme is collected, used and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. By registering, the Participant (and the Parent/Guardian, where applicable) consents to such processing, including for examination conduct, result publication, dashboard services, and Programme communication. Consent for minors is obtained through the Parent/Guardian or through the registering school acting with parental authorisation.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and all disputes arising out of or in connection with them or the Programme shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory statutory protections available to consumers, the courts at Chandigarh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising from these Terms or the Programme, and the Participant/Parent/Guardian/School unconditionally submits to such jurisdiction. Disputes shall first be raised in writing with the support desk; a period of thirty (30) days is allowed for amicable resolution before proceedings are initiated.
16. Amendments to These Terms
The Organiser may amend, update, replace or withdraw these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time at its sole discretion. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website, or continued participation in the Programme after publication, constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. No failure or delay by the Organiser in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right.
